We had a nice day today and Emma Rae sure smiled, babbled alot and was in a happy mood. We had a free day today and all of us wanted to go to a more rural area so we paid our bus driver to take us to a little village outside of Nanchang. Most of our girls came from rural areas so we wanted to get a better picture of what each one came from. The countryside was very lush and green. The villagers all came filtering out of their homes when they saw us coming toward them. One family invited us into their home and had very cute children. One gal in our group had a polaroid camera. She would take pictures of the villagers and give them the pictures. They were so excited and would stare at the photo and smile.

Some of us in the group are going to walk to a Chinese restraunt this evening that has spicy food. Noone speaks English there so our guide is going to write down some chinese characters to show them what each of us would like to eat. Dawson and I are hoping for spicy shrimp! Dawson just left to go pick up our garments we had made. Tomorrow afternoon we fly to Guangzhou and we will be there for the next several days.
