Sunday-Father's Day
Dawson opened up a birthday card when we got home from his Mom and she enclosed a picture of Annalee. Emma Rae loved the photo and wouldn't let go of it so she took it on our walk!!!

It was neat that Father's Day was so soon and so special for Dawson to have Emma Rae here!!! We had a laid back day. Emma Rae slept until 3:00 a.m. Dawson and I are feeling like zombies and not much energy to do much of anything. We are a little cranky too. We took our first stroller ride down the street this morning with Howie and Lucie. Emma Rae seemed to really enjoy that! This afternoon we went for a quick bite at The American Wing Co. for our Father's Day dinner. Emma Rae loves her Bumbo Seat and fancy walker!!--- Thank you Patty, Jeff and Nicolas! Grammie and PaPa are leaving tomorrow and Dawson is going back to work!!! Just you and me kiddo.....

I love the shirt!! Yes, you are her Mommy and a very pretty Mommy at that!!
Any new parent has sleep deprivation. This will pass soon and you will find yourself waking up in the middle of the night making sure she is ok because she isn't waking you up.
You are doing a great job and look so content and a natural as a Mommy. I wish I lived closer so I could come and visit and help. We hope maybe sometime in August or September to be able to meet her.
I'm glad she likes the bumbo. I want to see a picture of it!!

Welcome home! I know it was a long yet fast journey but worth every minute of sleep loss and tired bones (o; The three of you look so happy. The dogs appear to have accepted her. That's great. I can't wait to see you again and meet little Emma Rae.
