Emma Rae's Dad Here- Sunday, June 3
On the bus to the airport 6 more hours before we get Emma Rae! Boarding the plane the Nanchang City...
Dawson is trying to get our Panda phone working before we leave for Nanchang to get Emma Rae. I am talking to mom right before we leave for the airport.
Sunday Morning 6:00a.m. Beijing.
On our big day, I guess it is about time I said a few words.
Julie has been doing such a wonderful job with the blog, but I had told her that once it was time, I would post a few thoughts.
Today is the day that our lives, and Emma Rae's life, will truly intertwine and forever change. I don't know if it is possible to be fully prepared for such an event, but we are as ready for this as anything we have ever done. We love her so much already and can only imagine what it will be like to be able to hold her.
Without the support of so many of our family and friends, this day would not have been possible. Julie and I would like to take the time now to thank you all.
In just a few hours, we will be in Nanchung and finally be with her.
Look out Emma Rae, here we come!

Awww, what a way to make me cry. You guys are going to make the best parents in the world. Lucky Emma Rae!!! What a wonderful change in her life. You will officially be Mommy and Daddy in a few hours!!
I think I'll set the alarm so I can get up and see the pictures.
Love you guys,
Patti
I wish I could be there with you guys, I know no amount of words will ever be enough to describe the moment when you are (finally) holding your daughter in your arms... Can't wait for the pics!
Julie & Dawson, I must have checked your site at least 50 times in the last few days. My stomach is all in knots, from being excited for you! I can only imagine how much more must be exticed. I can't express how happy I am for you and for Emma Rae! I know that Grandma Roaderick is watching down on you expecially today! I also will be up in the middle of the night checking for a post, but won't be surprised to find none becuase you are a little busy with someone much more important!!!! All our love and prayers!
~Monica~
Congratulations. We are so happy for you.
