Orphanage Package

These are the items that we sent to Wu at the Fengxin Welfare Institute. We sent three cameras for them to take pictures of the orphanage, her caretakers/nannies, her cribmates/friends and of course Wu! We also sent a baby photo album with pictures of us and grandparents. There were only 6 pages to the album so I couldn't fit everyone in. Once all the items were labeled and ready to go, we found out that we shouldn't just send things to Emma Rae!!!! She is all that has been on our minds so we didn't think past her!!! So..... Dawson went shopping! That is one thing that he hates doing. But he called me at work that day and was so excited and nervous about his shopping adventure. We had heard of several things that the nannies and the director would like so he went with those ideas. He bought facial moisturizer, lipsticks, stationary, make-up, chocolates, toys and candy for the orphans, and many other items. I laugh when I think of him picking out these things!!! He picked quite the colors for lipstick and nail polish too!!! He was very serious about his purchases and when I commented on the bright colors he said in a very serious tone, "Well, I can picture an asian women with that color on!!" I smiled and told him, "Good Job Honey!!!" He was so cute. and the kicker was that they don't want anything from China and of course almost everything he looked at was from China- so he had to keep hunting.... It was an ALL day adventure.
