Introducing Wu Wu!!! (WooWoo)!

Isn't she adorable??? They bundle the babies up in several layers of clothing because they don't have heat!! She is so cute...We can't stop staring at her!!

What a day it has been!! We received an email this morning, "Stork Alert", stating that the referral was on its way from China and they were expecting the package possibly TODAY!!! I called Dawson and told him to check his emails and we shared in that moment together, both at work. We continued to check our emails throughout the day. A couple hours went by and Dawson told me to check MY email. That email said, "The Stork has Arrived"!! We were both SO excited. We could hardly stand it. We knew we were going to see our daughter for the first time through pictures!! We told each other that whoever gets the photos first "Don't Open" until we can be together to share in the moment. This afternoon, on my way home at 3:23, I answered a LONG DISTANCE phone call and NOONE was saying anything...Bad Connection....I almost died. I couldn't believe it. I called that number back and Great Wall Adoption's answering machine picked up. I hung up and called Dawson immediately and told him I just got the call but it didn't come through and to be on the lookout!!!! I drove another 1/2 mile and my phone rang again(3:25) while I was talking to Dawson. I yelled "THIS IS IT" "I GOT TO GO"!!! I answered and told her that I needed to pull into a parking lot!!! This was it and I wanted to write down everything she was going to say. The first thing she said is...."Congratulations!! It's A Girl"!! Her name is Ying Wu Feng! They usually double the child's middle name for a nickname....so Wu Wu is her nickname. We think that is so cute! She is in the province of Jiangxi at the Welfare Institute of Fengxin. Her birthday is listed as July 13, 2006 so she's just under nine months old!! Wu Wu is very attached to her caregiver and that is a great sign...she has bonded!! They stated that she is quiet and is fond of music. They also said that she likes to laugh outloud...just like her mama and daddy! We travel in 6 to 8 weeks!! Can't wait to bring her home!
